This privacy notice explains how Taytan Accounting Solutions collects, uses, protects, and retains information submitted through this website and Taytan's secure personal and corporate tax intake portals.
The general contact form may collect contact details and inquiry information. The secure tax portals may collect personal identification details, Social Insurance Numbers, corporation and business numbers, shareholder information, financial records, tax questionnaire answers, and supporting tax documents. Banking information is not requested or stored.
Information is used to respond to inquiries, assess service needs, prepare requested tax work, request missing information, and meet applicable professional and legal obligations.
Personal and corporate tax intake answers and uploaded documents are encrypted in private storage. Access is restricted to an authorized Taytan administrator through a protected dashboard. Sensitive information should only be submitted through the applicable secure intake portal, never through the general contact form or ordinary email.
Client information is retained only for as long as reasonably required to provide the requested services and satisfy applicable professional or legal obligations, after which it should be securely deleted.
You may contact Taytan to ask about your information, request a correction, or discuss deletion where permitted. Do not include a SIN or tax document in an ordinary email.
